I need to order refill ink for my EI printer and would like opinions on which ink is the best - kopykake, icingimages, or photoforst? I've only used kopykake but I thought I read one of the others was better. Anyone have any experience with the other brands?
I would offer my opinion on this, but it may be a little one sided 
I can say we have had very little complaints in regard to the Edible Inks, especially since our company is actually the manufacturer not a middle man or distributor for someone elses products.
We do not provide Epson cartridges since we do not endorse the use of Epson printers because of the non removable print head. We do provide refill inks if that is the path you would like to take. The other option would be to switch to a different printer all together, and I can certainly help you if that is a direction you would like to go as well.

I would suggest not using Photofrost. You are better off with Kopykake and Decopac inks. You may need to buy a new printer after using the Photofrost stuff. I'm also one of the "very little" complaints Photofrost gets. Just because a company manufactures, it does not guarantee they manufacture quality product.

I understand that if I dont use it for a few days that it probably will clog, but if I unclog it, use it, than use it 3-4 hours later...the black ink is COMPLETELY clogged. Do other people have this problem as well?

We just finished testing the cartridges for that printer. We will be launching next week. So far we love the results. If you are getting a clog that quick, you may have a problem with the ink gelling in the cartridge and causing it to reclog quickly. How are you storing the cartridges between use?

Honestly I guess I just leave them in the printer. I was wondering if I should be storing them in a bag or fridge. How do you recommend storage?
For our Icing Imges Brand, I recommend that you keep them in the printer. At least once per week, print out anything on "regular" paper. Edible ink and Regular ink cost about the same so you can use it like your regular printer, just understand that edible ink fades over the years so do not print things like taxes...or maybe you should!!!! Though I do not work with KK's ink, I dont know if our methods will work with their inks.
