I have a client who booked through a planner, and there was some hitch with the deposit, so this thing was "interesting" from the start. Anyway, the wedding is this weekend and she hasn't paid me yet. I've got a 30-day-out balance policy, but the planner got involved in the messages back and forth, so I gave her some extra time. After being told by the bride that she'd send it paypal last week and not getting it, I've sent her two more reminders, and today I just sent the "no money = no cake for you" email. I also called her and told her that if I don't get the payment by the end of today she won't have a cake, so she can't say that she didn't get the email. The planner knows, too, and says that she totally understands.
Want to make any bets on if, and how fast she'll pay up?
I had the same situation with a prom ..... got the check within 24 hours after sending that email!
same thing here, no responses until after the second notice. Do they really think we will just forget about the money and make the cake anyway?
"Yes!" Because of all the great "exposure" you'll get for your business. ahhahahahahahahaha
