If you're NOT into it---just a quick word--- bike racing is immensely enthralling-- road racing is a high speed chess game on wheels--it's not just who gets there first--tremendous mental gamesmanship involved. It's worth a look see. Lots of different stuff going on there~~ Just an encouraging word to you.

Anybody already into it??

We tivo it and I can't talk about it to my husband until he gets to watch it after me so I'm always just about bursting to dish about it.

My hubby is an avid rider--he rides 4-5 times a week & used to race--our son was semi-pro and is getting back into racing after 5 years of working long hours as a chef--it's has taken it's toll on his legs but he'll get it back.

But the win yesterday by Thomas Voekler was stupendous!!!

The green even down to his sunglasses (of Cavendish) is hysterical--he's having a good time, eh?

Those Cadillac commercials get on my last nerve.

Oh that commercial with Lance & it shows different people who are in different stages of the grip of cancer then all the while Lance is saying about the different naysayers about him that some people say he's a druggie and a fraud and blablabla then at the end where he says , "I'm not riding for them (the people who bad mouth him) and you know he's riding for the ones in the pictures--wow wow wow.

I am into it too. Thomas Voeckler is stupendous. His first year, he really blew them away. He was like the energizer bunny. Lance doesn't win on his own - he wins because of the team effort. All those Euro teams have so many primadonnas, they can't work as a team and really can't field a winner with all that nonsense going on. Lance as part owner and team leader can really make his group work together and as a result he gains the win. Lance as one person is good, but as part of a cohesive team he is invincible.
