My daughter was upstairs. Her 2 year old (my grandson) was downstairs. She suddenly realized it was TOO quiet. She goes downstairs and below is the scene that greeted her. She called me right away because she knew that a caking gramma would LUV the story! So naturally, I'm sharing it with all of you!
The cutest part (other than his cheesy grin) is the towel on the floor in the middle of the sugar .... the little guy was trying to clean it up for mommy!
This pic is just the kitchen ... the actual spilled box of sugar is in the pantry and it looks just as bad!
oh ... and their dog is now white, too!
(in the preview, the pic didn't show up right so I hope this works!)
Cute, Debi!
It reminds me of the time my son, also at age 2, decided that eggs were balls, and they should bounce off the wall.

Oh my gosh! Did that picture just put a HUGE smile on my face!!! It's almost always trouble when they're quiet! (What a little cutie!) Thanks for sharing it with us!!!
Oh my gosh, he must be related to my daughter!
Oh these two pics should be joined at the hips!!
Here's a hoot! If they meet and marry, we can use these pics in the big powerpoint photo thing they do at receptions, showing the bride and groom when they were kids and babies!
Mine gets into everything..I have another pic of her covered in butter, still holding the stick in her hand.
It's funny b/c whenever she does something like this, I immediately grab the camera. But if DH catches her, he immediately starts cleaning up. These are priceless memories, you have to catch 'em in pics!!
Adorable!!! Keegan got into flour once Mommy quickly learned to put those types of ingredients up high!
Priceless!
And, other than the PS, your daughter keeps a very clean kitchen!
She's a freakin' germ-o-phobe! Drives me up a tree!
Oh these pictures are both sooooo cute. And they both look so proud of their accomplisments. That powdered sugar had to be a nightmare to clean up. Thanks for sharing all your stories.
Oh babes, you gotta love'm. That is too cute and priceless. I wish I had a dollar everytime my stepkids, kids, and grandkids did something like this. I could afford to do a lot more cakin'. HeeHee. Thanks for the laugh today. Oh by the way, was he by any chance hiding something behind his back?
Aww he's a cutie!
This reminds me of the time my son was 3. I just bought a bottle of baby powder. I left it in the bathroom on the sink. Forgot to put it up before I went to bed.
I woke up the next morning my bathroom floor all white. He used the entire bottle. I asked him what he was using it for and he said "for snow for my plow trucks."

Ya gotta give him points for thinkin'!

LOL! He's pretty creative, he can always find a use for everything!
Those two are definitely related.LOL.Did anybody else notice thesa cheeky smiles and thesame hands in the back posture?Hillarious.
Thanks, both of you, for sharing the precious photos of two of my favorite things -- kids and sugar!!! I think you may have future cakers in your midst!
Those pics made me laugh! Reminds me of my Grandson when he was about 3 yrs. old, but it was toilet paper instead of powdered sugar! A lot easier to clean up. He did my entire upstairs!!!
