I have been getting couple of requests to ship cakes! I have no clue if atall its possible or doable. Does anybody here ship cakes and if yes, what are the logistics involved? Is it worth it?

Thanks in advance!

I do, but it depends. If they are willing to pay the shipping and haddling with no problems, go ahead. In my case, I had shipped a 3 tier fondant cover cake (Brown cake in my pictures). The dry ice and box was around $10 and the shipping from GA to Chicago Priority mail was $24 with insurance. Cake arrive safely, cold, and exactly as i send it. Make sure that you write all sides "THIS SIDE UP^^". You can search your Dry Ice distributor at

Shipping cost at

and photos of how i did is at

instructions are in spanish but if u want more info, send me a PM.

Hope this helps you!!!
