Which Dvd's, Nicholas Lodge Or Scott Clark Woolley

I am just wondering which DVD's to get? Does anyone know how each of these DVD's are? I know on Scott Clark Woolley's website it lists all what flowers are on each of his DVD's but they are super expensive but I can't seem to find what flowers are on Nicholas Lodge's DVD's. Any input would be a great help.
Have you tried going to Youtube.com. They have a lot of videos that are free. Some by our very own Tonedna that are fabulous!

I don't always have access to the internet so I would much prefer to have dvd's to refer back to
I don't have either's DVD, but I do have Scott Clark Wooley's book: "Cakes by Design." I like the books as a reference tool. Hope you get some more answers from people who have it. I would be interested in hearing a review.
Have a great day!

I have all Scott's DVDs and most of Nick Lodge's. Scott has a lot more information and a lot more flowers on his DVDs. Nick has usually two flowers on a DVD. They are both good in their own way. I also have both of their books -- Scott's "Cakes by Design" and Nick's "Potpourri of Flowers". Nick's flowers are simpler to do (in my opinion) but Scott's are much better looking. Both use their books to back up the info in their DVDs. I guess it just boils down to a matter of choice. Now I have heard that Scott has some videos up on YouTube, but I never go there so I can't speak to that. I don't know if Nick does or not. Hope that helps some!
i too, have all of scotts dvd's and some of his cutters and veiners.. i also have most of nick lodge's .. i love them both.. have their books also.. i spend more money on books and dvd's than i take in making cakes. ha! with each teacher's dvd's , it is just like sitting in class with them..
I don't have either of theirs and I hear both are great but what I do have is our own Sugarflowers's Bloomin' Garden dvd and it's a fantastic dvd. She also provides excellent customer service. For $20 you can't go wrong!
What she shows you how to make is everything that is on her avatar pic.
Here's a link to her be website:

Here's what it says on her website:
Michele has just completed the taping of her first decorating instructional video Bloomin' Garden where she demonstrates techniques for making gum paste rose, carnations, pulled flower, baby's breath, quick leaves, striped bow and ruffle.
HTH!
It's a personal choice. Both are very good but I have a preference to Scott Clark Woolley's DVDs.
I have taken classes with Scott as well as own all of his DVDs along with his cutters and veiners. Yes he is expensive, but the end results are so worth it. His flowers actually look real!
Thank you for posting this question. I had the same question. I was leaning toward Scott as his work is quite phenomenal and his teaching technique is very detailed and thorough.
He does have trailers for his DVD's posted on uTube and his own site that show his teaching techniques. I just got his book and would love to have his DVD's, but for now I have to go with the book.
Those of you that have his DVD's, I would like to comment that the lessons your taking from his DVD'S clearly show in your work. VERY NICE!
