What Are Your Favorite Buttercream Borders?

I tend to do most of the same borders all the time, shell, reverse shell, pearl, ruffle.
What are you favorite borders, I really need to try some new ones!!

Okay. This is a stupid question since I've been a member for nearly two years, now. Is there a way to save a forum topic? cupcakemkr, you threw that thread out there so quickly... do you have it saved somewhere? Or, does it just stay in watched topics (until you tell it to stop watching)if you indicated you wanted to watch - or posted a reply. If there is a way to save it, I feel really dumb because I've never come across that option.
Not a stupid question Win, I saw the recently, last week I think, so I did a search for borders and it was within the first 25 topics on borders discussed.
I think it stays on your watched list until you remove it though.
I've actually opened a microsoft document to which I copy and paste links... that's the only other way I knew to save stuff I wanted to review later. I just was wondering if there was something I was missing elsewhere. Thanks for this link, cupcakemkr... It's one I'm going to save.
I save the threads in My Favorites (in the internet explorer) with an easily recognizable name, for example, How to pipe borders (or whatever). I created a special folder in my favorites to save threads from CC. That way is very easy to find them. (The downside is that I only have that list in this computer).

Don't feel bad Win, up to today I have been looking like crazy how to save a post, I even asked time ago in another thread but no response. So I just go to watched topics.

alright, call me old fashioned, but I really like the classic reverse shell. Another one I've used that I really like I don't actually know the name of. Not sure if it even has a name. What I use is a #104 (petal) tip. I typically only use this on the bottom of a cake, but it can be done for a top border too. I hold the tip against the cake, pointed side down. Then, using constant pressure, I start drawing tight spirals. To me it gives the border a pleated look. Reminds me of the hem of my wedding dress, which is why it's one of my faves. I tried to explain that as best as I could (how'd I do?) I"m going to get DH to record me doing a few borders so I can upload them onto youtube.
