Hey all! Every once in a while a thread pops up where someone asks "what do i do with all my cake tools". So many folks have everything jumbled together in one box or drawer. This is how i started too, but it took forever to find what i was looking for... so off i went to organize, little did i know it would grow into this!

I did one of these (photos on how I organize) a few years ago and decided I would do an updated version (have moved from a small craftsman tool cart to this stainless baby!). I will be moving all my stuff out of my kitchen and into our new bakery (yay!) in about 3 weeks (can't wait to have my kitchen back!) so I figured now was the perfect time.

All of my pans, books, my industrial sugar sifter, cooling racks, etc are kept on a narrow gorilla rack.

The remainder of my tools are kept in a Stainless Steel Rolling Tool chest (thanks hubby! He's an aircraft mechanic and this is one of his "spare" tool chests) and organized into drawers by task.

My tips are all organized into a hardware nuts and bolts "thingy" that can be hung on the wall. I have them divided into rows by what they do, ie: leaves, petals, rounds, etc.

I can't wait to move all of this into our shop and be able to spread out even more. I am an organizational fanatic and am just giddy with anticipation of creating a new, even larger, space!

I finally managed to sort myself out a few months ago in the shop! Everything remains where it is with the exception of tips, which I keep losing, just this morning I was all over for a #68! Thank you sooo much for taking the time to post this. I am in the process of trying to get organized and found it to be all too overwhelming. Now that I have seen your pictures, I am truly inspired! First thing in the morning I will finally CLEAN and ORGANIZE!

That...brings a tear to my eye. I am inspired to actually go on and do the organizing I was merely thinking about a couple of hours ago

lol....this is a fabulous display of what my drawers will never be!! It starts that way and I have a busy cake week and it all goes to hell in a handbasket!! Looks great tho.

I just bought a plastic rolling drawer set, but that is spectacular, I would love that!

Love it! My Wife bought me a Bakers Rack about 2yrs ago and it's fine but I have to re-organize it every month or so.

lol i had just decided to do a proper organise of all my stuff - its all crammed into a couple of drawers and i dont want my cutters, etc to get damaged so im taking over our spare room and putting most of my stuff in there and il just get it as i need it...well thats the plan anyway!!

OMG - I love your organizational skills. Made my heart flutter....serisouly, it did.

I love it. I just bake for a hobby but have way too many kitchen gadgets for my sanity. We just moved into a new house so I guess now is the time to figure it out.
