I'm a Senior Shipping Manager at my 9-5. So I can tell you from experience that If you donât mind a mush pile of cake and icing, then go ahead and ship your cake. Otherwise, no. icon_lol.gif

Cakes on the other hand, are easy to ship. Just make sure you package well with bubble wrap or the Styrofoam "popcorn".

This site has a demo on how to ship cookies, as for cakes not sure I would do that unless their not iced, more like a loaves or something of that nature. I would recommend calling UPS (PO) takes too long to get through and ask them, they are real nice about stuff like that and they would definetly be able to tell you how they do it and how much you would be looking at in cost.

There used to be a thread or an article here 9 I can't find it now of course!) that gave step by step instructions.
I remember that they did loosly wrap in bubble wrap, put it in a box (styrofoam is the best) and then put that in another box. Write fragile all over the box! IMHO I would ship 1-3 days to help secure it's safety!
HTH and good luck!

***if anyone knows what post/article I am talking about can you link it, please?!!??!!!??!!
