Does anyone have any suggestions about how to repair torn fondant after it has been put on a cake? I didn't know if you could fix it or if you just have to take it off and do it over again. It seems like such a waste if you have to take all of it off and start over.

If the tear is small enough and you can get the torn parts to meet (or even overlap), you can wet your finger and rub gently until the tear disappears. For other small tears you can also do a similar thing by placing a fondant "patch" over the tear, and again, wetting and rubbing gently until your patch sort of melts into the original fondant.
