
So i'm planning on making a tire cake for the business we take our cars to get repairs, and stuff,,,how would u recomend me to make this cake? I was thinking to use black icing & mix it with chocolate buttercream (so it's not so bitter) and I was going to add the michalin man to the cake as well.

Me, I would use the chocolate icing alone in place of the black--people will get the idea it is a tire. I use a knife and just score it where it looks like tire tread. I don't like to serve a lot of black icing. People then wear it in their teeth. Like just be sure you have the dimensions correct and cut out a bit of the center and put some lug nuts--sounds like a way cool cake. The Michelin man would be cool too.
