I am looking for a receipe for a delicious pink lemonade cake that I can use for wedding cakes. Does anyone have a receipe?
Never heard of this kind of cake but it sounds SOOO great! Here's an idea...how about replacing the liquid in your white cake mix OR scratch recipe with pink lemonade and add a little pink coloring to batter. That would give a "hint" of lemonade taste.
Okay, GREAT, now I want to make one just to see how it turns out! THANKS A LOT! LOL
Good Luck!

I've made a lemonade(not pink) cake before. I guess if you want it pink you could add a drop of color in the mix. It's in one of the Southern Living cookbooks I have. Let me know if you need the recipe, I'm at work right now, but I can forward later in the day.
I thought it was yummy(and I don't like cake).

I would love the receipe from the Southern Living Book. If you don't have time, can you tell me what year the book came out and possibly what page? I can go to my library but the selection is soooo large or when you get time, send by forum. THANKS A BUNCH
I made pink lemonade cupcakes. I used the Extened Version here on CC with a white cake mix and used thawed concentrated pink lemonade for the liquid and lemon extract for the flavoring. The pink gets lost in the mix so you need to add pink color. It had a really nice lemonade flavor-- not like a lemon cake mix.
Yum! I would love that recipe! My wedding is in April and is outside. I bet that would be SO good!
i used a recipe here on cc. i added strawberry gelatin to a cake mix then made cream cheese frosting and added fresh squeezed lemon juice
Here's a recipe from Wilton's cupcake site:

This recipe was on GMA in May. It's really good. I also have a recipe for a sratch lemonade cake, but I don't see why you couldn't make it a pink lemonade cake. Let me know if you want that one.
Pink Lemonade Layer Cake
Butter for coating pan
1 white cake mix
3 tbsp pink lemonade drink powder
3 eggs
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp grated lemon zest
Frosting:
1lb powder sugar
1 stick unsalted butter, softened
3 tbsp frozen pink lemonades concentrate
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp grated lemon zest
Preheat the oven to 350F. Butter two 8-inch round cake pans and line the bottom with parchment or waxed paper; set aside.
For the cake, in a large bowl, stir together the cake mix and lemonade powder. Prepare the cake batter according to the package directions, using the eggs and the oil. Stir the lemon zest into the batter. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pans. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden and a toothpick inserted in the centers of the cakes comes out clean. Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minuets. Carefully turn cakes out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
For the frosting, beat together the confectioners' sugar and butter until fluffy. Beat in the remaining ingredients until combined.
Transfer one cake to a cake stand or large platter. Using an offset spatula spread the top of the cake with a layer of frosting. Place the second cake on top of the first. Spread the remaining frosting over the top and sides of both layers.
Makes 10 - 12 servings.

That's the recipe I've used. I thought it was really good. Got lots of compliments on the flavor.
Sorry I didn't respond over the weekend...the weather was just to pretty outside, so we spend the weekend outside in the beautiful weather in the great city of HOUSTON, TX.
