I am in search of a chocolate chip and peanut butter cookie that will not spread during baking. I am tired of only making the no fail sugar cookies. Please, if anyone has a recipe can you please share?

Cookies made with butter will spread more than cookies made with shortening. (Butter has a lower melting point than shortening.)

Once I cut my cookies out I put them in the freezer for a few minutes so they chill and I find that they dont spread.
