Your cake is AMAZING! I love all the detail that you put on it. Would you be willing to share the directions for making it? My husband and 3 sons love motorcycles and I would love to try this for them. Have a Great Holiday and thanks for sharing your talent.

I don't want to start a new thread to address this, so perhaps someone can answer here. I really wish I could see this cake, but I changed my anti-virus software recently (from Norton to ZoneAlarm Pro) and suddenly I can't see photos that are posted in the threads. Does anyone know what setting I might need to change to be able to see them again? I am dying to see the picture of this cake - it sounds amazing!!

Thanks!!!

Hello, everyone...and thank you all for your comments. You are more than sweet!
I just wanted to answer a couple of questions re:size and stuff...
The cake I baked was in an 11x15 that I cut into 3 cakes, torted, filled and stacked and carved into the body of the motorcycle....then I covered it in fondant, painted it black and added all the "mechanisms" which I painted silver. I had one day to make this cake. I was aiming to make the wheels out of cake as well, but I didn't have enough cake and didn't have time to make more. I use Rice Krispie treats for the wheels. It was the first time I had used them for a cake but it worked well. The bars are dowels that I painted silver.

If I had more time for this cake I would have added a license plate, a flag, & a street sign which would have all been personalized, but I had to make a decision as to what it had to have and what it could do without.

The board was about 2 ft x 10 or so inches.

I was so stuck with designing this thing. I procrastinated because I didn't know where to start.....once I carved the body, though, I "saw" it in my head, and it went smoothly. There aren't a whole lot of motorcycle cakes out there to use as examples...

Thanks again...I hope I didn't miss any questions...

Thanks for sharing! The front tire had me stumped! I have used Rice Krispie Treats for some designs.....I really like them! Must be the kid in me!
One day!! It would take me One WEEK just to get the thing carved!! Again.....INCREDIBLE JOB!
