A caramel fondue is a way to minimize the mess of caramel apples and much easier to make and serve.
1 pound Peter's Caramel
1 stick butter
1 can sweetened condensed milk
chopped nuts, optional
Place caramel, butter and sweetened condensed milk in microwav-safe bowl. Heat in microwave a few seconds at a time; stirring between times, until fluid. Serve warm with sliced apples and chopped nuts.
You could use other caramel too, such as home-made. A kitchen gadget is available in lots of kitchen stores that slices apples in one push.
Never heard of Top-n-fil, but then my city is commercially stupid, not much of a representation available goods in the US. ![]()
Toblerone we do have, and I am intrigued by this Toblerone fondue idea. Do you just melt it in the pot or is there a special recipe? Please do share?
If I keep this up, I'm never gonna loose weight. ![]()

I make a caramel apple dip, which is yummy. Melt a 14 ounce bag of caramels with a tablespoon of water. Stir until smooth. Add a small can evaporated milk and 3 cups mini marshmalllows. Microwave a bit more if necessary to melt the marshmallows.
I serve with sliced apples, pecans, pretzels, cut up pound cake....anything you can dip!
