do you think that Alice's Cookie Icing would work for petits fours?
I have never made them and want a good tasting glaze for them. I really don't like the idea of using melted candy. I've diped cake balls in the candy melts, and I really don't care for it.

I've never made Alice's Cookie Icing....

Petit Fours are traditionally covered with a poured fondant. icon_smile.gif

Ok I tried petit fours for the 1st time this weekend. I tried the poured fondant, I didn't like it YUCK!!!!! I ended up putting a crumb seal on them and covering them with MMF while they were still sticky. They came out tasting fabulous, everyone loved them. But I only made half of what I was planning to make since covering with MMF took so much time. I need a good recipe for an icing or glaze for petit fours. I tried different flavors in the poured fondant, I think it was the texture I didn't like.
