Can you get the coupon in a flyer at the store? What about that clay pasta machine, bet that'd be good for fondant for only $15??

Thanks for letting us know. I missed it when I looked through the ad this morning. I saw the coupon but not the pans. Guess I'll go there tomorrow.

i've never seen them on store flyers.

I was wondering the same about the pasta machine.

I'm not shopping until Wed. when I can go w/ Michaels, AC Moore and Hobby Lobby coupons in hand (yep, all three in area and all three have coupons!)

FYI if you ever forget your coupon or your paper didn't give you one (sometimes mine forgets the ad) you can tell Michael's and they will give you the discount anyway. My cake instructor clued us into this. I have done it before, and it was no hassle at all.

FYI: did the following calculations to see how the sale price of $7 stacked up as a savings vs. using the 40% off coupon.

Pretty obvious, that unless you need the pan NOW!, it's better to wait and use the 40% off coupon for anything costingless than about $11. (of course, that could take time considering that Michaels only seems to do coupons at most every other week now.)

(but w/ all three of the biggies (Michaels, AC Moore, and Hobby Lobby w/ coupons this week..that's three pans at least!)

Thank you some much for the info. I know, they only have a flyer in the paper every other week now. But sad as it may seem I will buy about three newspapers to get the coupons. I get the paper for $1.00 so it is worth it in the end. Sad sad puppy. icon_redface.gif

My grandma collects the flyers from her neighbors for me. They walk them over to her house every Sunday afternoon. What a nice grandma and nice neighbors, huh?

I went yesterday to micheal's and got the roamn pillar set with the 40% coupon. I also got 6 more tips (3,16,21,10) just to have extras, the larger tip case, a new big cooling rack, and 5 20x30 3/16" foam core boards for only $1 each. I also got a cars pan, strawberry shortcake, and a pooh bear pan.

I took advantage of my hubby being in a good mood. icon_lol.gif

That is when you go in the morning and than after the shift change in the afternoon. icon_redface.gif I can't beleive that we look for ways to "cheat" to buy more "cake crap" (as my dh puts it- how dare he). So how many cake pans have we bought this week (5- that I didn't have- so far and its only Tuesday)lolololol

Hello All:

Did you guys know that when Hobby Lobby has a coupon for 40% off you can go to there site and print as many coupons as you want.

You can't use the computer generated ones and Michaels but you can use the original one from Hobby Lobby at Michaels.

Hey everyone please note, while all Michaels are suppose to do things they same they do not all do it.

At my Michaels, if you do not have a coupon then you do not get the discount. The cashiers have to turn those in and they get in trouble if they don't have them but still gave disounts.

I have used 3 Hobby Lobby coupons and 1 Michaels coupon all in one night. I am an instructor at the store, so the cashiers may have been a little nicer to me than other people. I did offer to go to different cashiers but they told me not to worry about it. I used two before the class and two after the class and there was not alot of people in the store when I did it.

My store will also take the printed out Hobby Lobby coupons, as that's the only ones I have ever used there.

So please keep in mind the store in your area may have different practices or policies.

Same here TexasSugar, we have five different Michael's here and they all do things differently. Also, their return policy is all different as well. Some will take a returned item without a receipt and give you a give card for store credit for the full value of the item and other store's have started giving you store credit at the 40% discount. They are assuming you used a coupon when you made the original purchase.

In my area...Michaels coupons only every other week. AND they only come in the newspapers that are delivered to houses. For some reason there aren't coupons in the newspapers at a stand. icon_cry.gif Also, the cashiers don't give you 40% without a coupon. They used to, but haven't for the past few years. AND we don't have Hobby Lobby or AC Moore here, so I can only use Michaels coupons there. I am still trying to build up my supplies and its hard because so many things are coupon worthy and I can only do that every other week!! icon_cry.gif Sad story...on Monday I went to Michaels to use my coupon and a lady used her coupon on a 99 cent paintbrush icon_surprised.gificon_confused.gificon_cry.gif WHAT!?!
