I'm still in the early stages but I did a very cute easy cow cake years ago. 9 x 13 iced chocolate for dirt - the top was the "grass" tip in green. I had bought a little "farm" set in the toy dept at Walmart that had a cow, tractor, etc. I place the cow in the green. I made a "plowed field" of brown for tractor placement. I even mixed up blue piping gel for a "pond". It was cute & easy. This might be more masculine than you wanted......

You can try using a topper, like a Mary's Moo Moos figurine, on the cake and decorate around it. That way the figurine can be part of the gift too icon_smile.gif

i went to a wedding a few years ago and they had a cow themed wedding cake that was interesting. It was a basic 3-tier white cake with black spots like a cow all over it. It was very cute.

Love the footprint in the cow pie! Though it might be difficult to eat!

I'm making a wedding cake with cow spots and a Mary's Moos topper on it on October. The flowers will be sunflowers.
