My mother requested that I make my dad a cake for father's day. The catch is, he follows Weight Watchers. Does anyone know of a recipe for icing that is more forgiving than the standard buttercream?

if he's not diabetic, use the boiled icing. it contains egg whites and sugar only and contains no fat. if u want the recipe search "boiled icing". i hope this helps.

Greenhorn-
I think I have a couple. I'll send them to you ASAP. Have to search for them.

Here's a good recipe from Cake Doctor. There are only 13 points in the whole batch, so depending on your cake size it would typically be under 1 point per serving!

OOPS!!! There are 23 pts per 3.5 cups. Sorry for the miscalculation. Still that's very good and it tastes good too.
