Hi,
Does anyone have a recipe for Black cake (Island Rum cake) which you soak the fruits in liquor all year and bake in December?
I was in a restaurant last night and over heard a conversation where the restaurant had 40 orders already for the cake which is only made in December. The owner was saying how it has to be ordered by July first in order to make it for this year. It cost $45 for an 8 inch cake.
I tasted it once. Its pretty good but one slice is my limit then the room starts to move.
