Made a cake for delivery today. I came home from work last night to find my college son and his buddies had "sampled" my cake Crying or Very sad

Seems he thought it was a practice cake since it was Easter themed!

Off to the drawing board again. Glad it was just a simple sheet cake Very Happy

Kids, gotta love them no matter how old they are!

Tell that boy to put up his hand, boy scout style, and promise that he will eat no cake until you tell him it is a practice cake. All other cakes are off limits no matter how they are decorated.

He should have known better.

Bad boy!

By the way it was a lovely cake. Smile

My kids are 17, 19, and 20. Their friends are ALWAYS at my house. They all know not to touch any cakes. So, when I DO make something they can have, I put a note in handwriting next to it that says, "Yes, this is for you!"

My boys (16,12,&10) and all their friend won't dare touch a cake unless I tell them. Only because they think I 'm nuts when I'm decorating a cake Shocked . And most any other time Twisted Evil . They just wait until I cut it. They know one way or another they'll get to benefit from the fruits(or cake) of my labor.
