I have seen this term while searching for cookie pics. What is rolled buttercream?

Thanks so much! Is this good for cookies that you are going to ship out in the mail, do they hold up? This sounds so much better than fondant (taste wise) and definitely better than royal icing.

You are welcome! For me? There is NO comparison between fondant or RBC. I wouldn't think about putting fondant on cookies (to much trouble). RBC you will really like. Just don't forget whichever you decide to use (hopefully rbc icon_smile.gif ) be sure to paint on a thin layer of corn syrup onto the cookie just prior to applying the RBC.
Yes, it does stiffen enough for shipment!
