How do you determine your cupcake cake pricing? Do you use the regular matrix or do you do a "Per cupcake" charge?

Good question! I just did one with 20 cupcakes and sold it for $20
I had no idea what to quote and it was for a good friend.

I have wondered this myself and have yet to ask the question. There are so many CCC on this site that are very creative and I would think that the pricing would be the same as any decorated cake. Not really sure though since I have not done one myself.

I charge a standard wedding cake price per cupcake if they are going to a wedding. The cupcakes would have a small filling in them and decorated and so much work to make a bunch of them that it is worth it to discourage Brides from ordering 200 of them!
