Came across this site, which I thought pretty handily described the differences between the various meringue buttercreams.

Also has recipes, two of which are fairly large quantity:

woohoo - thanks! I've been meaning to try some MBCs (I've only used traditional BC and am getting tired of that too-sweet taste) and this is an excellent resource!!

Mmmm, I need to try these. The only problem I have is I like to be able to let a cake sit out. But I really want something different too, so I think my valentines cake will incorporate an MBC. Thanks for the link!
