Hi All,
I am trying to do some of the amazing cakes in "The Whimsical Bakehouse," which they do with candy melts. They say to use parchment bags to pipe the chocolate. I have those Wilton parchment triangles, but I can't figure out the easy way to put those dang things together! I end up so frustrated I end up putting the melted chocolate in a baggie and cutting off a corner. It works, but it's not ideal. Help!
I know how to make them, but I'm not good at explaining.
I found this link for you, and it has pictures! You can also put a decorating tip inside if you want.
Hope this helps. Good luck.

It really is worth figuring out the parchment triangles when you do chocolate transfers. I find that the easiest thing to do is cut the triangle in half before folding . . . when you work with chocolate transfers, you really don't use a ton of chocolate and the bigger bag is just harder to handle. I've even cut the triangles into four smaller triangles when I'm only doing detail work but when they're that small, I tend to overfill them and the chocolate squeezes out. So try cutting it in half first. Parchment is really so much easier to work with when it comes to chocolate and it fits so nicely in your palm when it's smaller. I resisted parchment bags for a while and I still don't like them for buttercream but for some reason they work really well here. Make the tips really fine for outlines and detail work . . . you can always cut a larger hole when you're filling in a larger area.
thanks so much everyone!! those pictures really help...I vow not to give up on them! The baggies aren't very easy to handle on small details, that's for sure.
This is how I learned from class. I marked my three corners A & C are you top two corners, B is your bottom. Join A to B they are now married. Take c and marry the three of them! Than fold down the back side and it should stay! Good Lcuk I hope this helps you out!
