I am using DH butter cake from a box, I need more than one box to I added both boxes to the mixer, followed the direction and the only thing I added was 1 package of sugar free instant pudding (even though I have two cake boxes I just added only one pudding) The direction say 30 sec to incorporate - I did this by hand since the mixer was so full and then it says 4 min on Medium, I even set my timer. I turn around and its FLUFFY.. I mean really fluffy.

There was 6 eggs as each box calls for 3, so I am guessing that is why it's so fluffy, but I have never seen fluffy batter. It is so fluffy that it just stays put, it does not move to the edges of the pan!

Is it gonna bake? Is this normal?

OMG, I am gonna freak if I just wasted all this time and ingredients

oh and on the mixer I had it a speed 4 .. it goes all the way to 10, so 4 has to be medium?

Wow...it looks like that mix has 4 minutes, where all of the other DH have 2 minutes (and I'm pretty sure it used to say 2 on older boxes). With pudding mix and that long for baking, I am not surprised it would be fluffy. The pudding would have time to start setting, and it's being whipped.

I never use my KA above a 2 or maybe 3 when it says medium, because it really whips.
