Help With A Purple Shade

The wedding color theme is "Sangria" from David's Bridal http://img.davidsbridal.com/db/f09_83312_2.psd.xml&cmp-color=top,710c4c&ftr=5&cmp-end=1&wid=330&hei=460&cvt=jpg
I'm making cake balls for my friend's bridal shower and with maybe "sangria" tiny flower embellishments. Its like this rich hot purple shade... I have Wilton colors except an CK hot pink shade... Help me out on what color combos to start playing with? TIA!
Did you have any luck achieving the sangria color? I'm trying to get the same color for a wedding cake for this Saturday. Mine keeps turning more of a plum color. I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!
I'd say the violet and red too, probably a little more of the red color since less will give a dark purple.
I'll try the violet color. I've tried electric purple with red, then burgundy, and pink. They all resulted in plum. Maybe the violet will do the trick!
I just looked at my maroon and green cuppies in mt photos and the Wilton Burgandy turns very close to the color you might be looking for....
I just used some burgundy, mixed in some deep pink with a little electric purple, and it seems to be turning a close color. The violet was a bust, and it turned even a darker purple. It's just trying to find the right combination of the three colors and is quite the challenge.
Please be sure to let us know what combination works for you. That is a beautiful color. And how much of each color (approx.)
