Just wondering how many use the WASC as their base cake recipe for all their cake mixes and simply adjust it depending on what flavor cake you are making.

Lately, I have been using the WASC recipes and simply switching out the cake mixes and flavoring. They have all been delicious! Well....all except the one I made with orange supreme cake mix. It wasn't horrible but not the best either. It tasted like Friut Loop cereal, which would be great for a child's birthday cake.

I use the WASC for the base of most all of my cakes.. including an orange "dreamsicle" I make which is wonderful. I just alter the cake mix and maybe some of the ingredients... depending on what kind of cake I am making...

You can search for a thread on this site titled " Gourmet flavors" or something close to that.. I think it is recipe request section... it has TONS and TONS of recipes and ideas generously shared by fellow CC members who use the WASC as a base....
