I have only been baking about 8 months... but am finding that it is the most addicting hobby EVER!

For my first post here at Cake Central.. I am doing the unthinking and asking for your critique! I would love to get better... but I think I need some feedback from the pro's! (thats you)

Here is one cake I have done recently... any and all feedback would be SO very appreciated!

You ROCK girl!! And you have something that lots of us don't (especially me!) and that's creativity!! I'm always struggling to find ideas for my next cake and you have come up with all sorts of cute ideas. I think a little more practice and you will be UNSTOPPABLE! Good job

Your cakes are awesome. Am I right in think you bake each layer separately for all of your cakes? I love all of the layers in your cakes and I'm wondering if baking separatly is better than torting.

I love love love your style and recipe postings. Can you make your background of the photo-taking a tad bit darker as to enhance the gorgeous cakes ?! thanks for sharing !

I just added your blog to my favorites! It's beautiful and creative (I have problems on the creative side ). I love how you did the graduated colors cake. I did a rainbow cake for my son's birthday at his demand...uh..request...and I baked six different layers (no, I don't think anyone uses indigo anymore). I loved the look, but it's use is kind of limited to kids. However, the graduated colors would look cool in any cake!

Wow, that is what my kitchen looks like after baking/decorating! Except mine is about 1/4 the size with just as much stuff in it..... My hubby calls me The Hurricane....
