I JUST GOT A NEW CANON PIXMA 4700 I CHANGE THE INK IN IT BUT IS NOT RAEDING IT SOMEONE CAN PLEASE HELP WITH IT .THANK YOU

Hi:
I have not worked with teh 4700, but I am learning that these printers are getting a little more of a brain. Take out your cartridges, turn your printer off. Turn the printer back on after a few minutes and let the computer tell you there are no cartrdiges in it. Then put the cartridges back in to it and see if the brain reset itself. Also, be sure that the chips are clean. You can do this with a little rubbing alcohol on the chip. If that doesnt work, let me know and I will try to think of some other options for you. Usually, if it is all the cartridges, that is where the problem is.
