I want to order an airbrush for my cakes, but there are tons and I have never worked with and don't know what a good one would be. I am a small home business, so not something hugh is needed and I don't want to spend a ton. I don't even know what I need to order with it.
Thanks for any experience.
I've been wondering this same thing! Can't wait to get some answers. I want something that's not "too high tech" but will do a good job, and is EASY to use!!!
too funny.. i just answered this question the other day and answered a PM on it tonight.. here is the link to the other topic.

Thanks for the info Tesso. I don't know much about airbrushing, execpt that it looks GREAT! What type of area do you need when you are airbrushing? Can you do it in a home kitchen? Or does it go everywhere? (Kind of like every other caking component, lol!)
you dont need a lot of space, you can precision your airbrush from a fine line to 2 inch area some large..depending on airbrush.
I airbrush at home on my kitchen counter or dinning room table if doing a really big multi layer cake. I usually just put a few pages of printer paper around the base of the cake that i am working on. so that i can keep my area very neat. and it lets me have something to practice on, when I am adjusting the nozzle for a fine line..
