Sorry if I am in the wrong area here, not sure if my cake making is a ''business''.....We are moving to Riyadh in the New Year, having lived there before, my queries don't have anything to do with the Saudi culture, only with my home baking. It was 1991/95 last time I lived there, and at that time a home baker was a Godsend to us expats - (I didn't do cake then but could have wrote my own ticket), and am hoping to start up again. I am wondering if it would be worth shipping all my gear with me - bearing in mind that customs may break/lose/remove a lot of it. I am especially interested to hear if the Wilton shaped pans would be popular there, as they are here in Dubai. Also, anyone know if there are any supplys available there? Any help from anyone with KSA knowledge or thoughts or the matter would be much appreciated.
