I belong to a couple of message boards that are NOT cake or food related and there are B/S/T ( buy,sell, trade) and ISO In search of ) areas where members can post items that they no longer need ( either for free or for sale ) OR they can post an item they are looking for.
Any transaction that takes place is done at the members own risk- basically the website & moderators are not responsble for any transactions that go badly.. any greivances are handled through the people involved ( and through paypal if paypal is used )
it has been a great tool on a lot of forums because you can trade and buy among people with similar and relevent interests.
I think it would be great on here to trade , buy,sell, things...say,
pans,molds, tips, recipe/decorating books, luster dusts ( unopened), fondant ( unopened) , cutters, ect ect...
and some forums people have things free for shipping cost only..
I know that I have a few things that I wouldnt mind buying used that are hard to find... and have things laying around that I bought and realized were going to work for me.. or cake related books I already read and dont really need to keep ect ect... since ebay now has so many sellers fees ect, I hate listing stuff on there- I used to all the time, but it gets so expensive, and you cannot do any trades either...
So I am not sure if this idea has already been brought up or not but I think it would be a good idea. |

This suggestion comes up every few months. Its not something we are prepared to do at this time. We may come up with a solution we are comfortable with in the future. |

I too wish we could have one, is it possible for someone to start one on another board like a cc b/s/t yahoo group and post the links here on CC That way CC isn't responsible for it? Just a suggestion. |
