I recently bought a pail of Satin Ice fondant at my local cake decorating supply store. The clerk said she opened a pail, then used it after 6 months and it was totally fine.
How long does this stuff last and how should I store it? I don't want to make anyone sick!
TIA |

If it helps, I've used an eaten Satin Ice that was over a year old and it was fine. |

It needs to be stored in an airtight container in the fridge. |

The fridge is totally not necessary. On the shelf is fine. Tightly wrapped is the key. |

I agree. I use it all the time. Tightly wrapped for a year, and it's fine. |
