What tip is used for the very pretty swirl on top of cupcakes. It looks to me to be a large star tip, but I can't find one that I think is big enough. Please help! |

I use tip 1M. You can get it at Hobby Lobby or in Wilton's cupcake decorating kit. |

I use 2d or 1m. I think I prefer the 2d, it doesn't seem to take so much frosting. Also the look differs whether you start your swirl from the outside and go in or start from the inside and go out. |

I like the 1B personally. I used it on the Fall cupcakes I just did last week.. in my photos.. |

I also use a 1M.
I love your cupcake though! It's just adorable!! And I never thought to use 1B for a cupcake. Thanks for sharing! (Here's the link to her fall cupcake).

1G is great to- it's so big you only need to do one swirl and the cupcake is perfectly frosted! |

[i]Thanks cylstrial and rosiecast~! I am pretty sure I ordered my tip directly from Wilton.. it was years ago... I think they all make nice swirls though.. Sometimes I just grab whatever is the handiest...  |
