I need to make a 2 tier cake for a 30th birthday. I know I need to use pinks and purples and toorquise colors in the cakes. The girl likes shopping purses and shoes. Does any one have ideas on how to create this cake?

I don't know if I will be any help but... what about a wild/crazy cake? You could have one tier with zebra stripes in purple, the other with leopard spots in pink, etc. You could make a fondant purse with credit cards sticking out for the top, and mini high heeled shoes on the ledge of the first tier. Maybe use square cakes with the top layer twisted 45 degrees.

It's just an idea, not sure where you were going with it. I am still very new at this and have asked a million questions myself. You'll get plenty of responses. I probably couldn't make shoes or purses out of fondant, but I haven't tried yet.
