Did you use marshmallow fondant? It takes longer to stiffen up - and sometimes I don't think I get quite enough powdered sugar in. If so - I usually knead in a little extra powdered sugar into the small pieces I use for decorations I need to get really stiff. Also - you should let them dry for a day or two at least. I usually put mine in the oven with the light on (no heat) to dry. It helps.

Also - I usually buy some gumpaste for things I need to be sure will be nice and stiff instead of using fondant.

Hope this helps.

You can ad tylose powder to it. You use 250g. of MMF and 1/4 tsp. of tylose powder. Found this out from Aine2. She doesn't use MMF though. I do and it does harden up. I just made a cake that was all MMF with tylose powder. "Zoe's tea party"
