Is it the recipe posted here on cc by marinersfan? i am looking into starting cookies. any other advice would be appreciated.

I'm sure no expert but I am really fumbly when it comes to rolled cookies and the NFSC actually worked good for me. The Anonia74 royal icing recipe is wonderful, especially since she's in Canada too, her measurements are for the 2 KG bag of icing sugar which is a little more than 2 pounds.

I love Toba's -- it has never failed me (KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK!)! It's easy to use and doesn't dry rock hard. I also use RI for piping detail, just the Wilton with flavor added.

Read the tara recipe and it looks like a small batch of Toba's.

My measurements are for the 1 KG bag of icing sugar. (I'm sure that's actually what you meant, but just clarifying. icon_biggrin.gif )
