I haven't made a tiara, but I want to help keep this thread going for ya!

It sounds like the sheet protectors would work, if they are a plastic that is safe for use around food.

There are some RI Christmas ornaments on the home page right now that she made by piping over balloons and then slowly deflating the balloons. I was wondering if that might work with a tiara, or if balloons are too rounded. Confused

Just a thought. Good luck!

Hi,
I made a RI tiara and wasn't as pleased with it as with the one I made from fondant/gumpaste. The RI one I had to keep piping over it to make it strong enough. The one from fondant/gumpaste was much cleaner and sharper looking and took less time to make. I used my clay gun and just placed it on a pattern that was taped around a bowl. Let it dry for a good week and then used luster dust and fondant pearls on it. It is in my photos on a heart shaped cake. Good luck and please pm me if you have any questions. Please post pics. Have a great day! Thumbs Up!
