Made a cake for delivery today. I came home from work last night to find my college son and his buddies had "sampled" my cake
Seems he thought it was a practice cake since it was Easter themed!
Off to the drawing board again. Glad it was just a simple sheet cake
Kids, gotta love them no matter how old they are! |

Tell that boy to put up his hand, boy scout style, and promise that he will eat no cake until you tell him it is a practice cake. All other cakes are off limits no matter how they are decorated.
He should have known better.
Bad boy!
By the way it was a lovely cake.

I would also like to know what you would charge for a cake like that?
Thanks

My kids are 17, 19, and 20. Their friends are ALWAYS at my house. They all know not to touch any cakes. So, when I DO make something they can have, I put a note in handwriting next to it that says, "Yes, this is for you!" |

My boys (16,12,&10) and all their friend won't dare touch a cake unless I tell them. Only because they think I 'm nuts when I'm decorating a cake . And most any other time . They just wait until I cut it. They know one way or another they'll get to benefit from the fruits(or cake) of my labor. |
