No, you read that right, my new scar. I was getting a springform pan out of the oven and somehow rolled it against the inside of my arm, near the elbow. I have one long burn from the lip of the pan and six striated marks from the ribs of the pain. It looks like the Sprint symbol!
It's healing nicely, but I feel like such an idiot. And since short sleeves are coming back with the warm weather, it's very noticeable.
Since I'm 27 and most people my age have Chinese or tribal tattoos all over their bodies, I'm telling people it's the symbol for "harmony." |

Keep it softed with something like neasporin to help avoid scarring. I don't know how badly you were burned but I did the same thing once when I was turning an angel food cake over on a bottle to cool. It hurt so bad my husband wanted to take me to the emergency room!!! But, it did fade and youreally can't see it. Hope yours heals as well. |

Thanks, it's not bad really, it's just the weird shape of it makes it look like I'm into some sort of weird cult thing.
Well, I guess I am in the CakeCentral cult! But that's totally healthy, right? Right? |

I'm sorry to hear that you got burned. Maybe you will be like me and the scar will just fade away. I have lots of scars but I can only tell you where they were because they are no longer visible

Ouchie! I knew someone who got bumped with a fryolater basket fresh out of the hot grease. She had a lovely criss cross pattern on her forearm for years. |
