Finished my first Royal Icing Transfer last night. (I need it for Saturday.) It's a Hello Kitty. While it's drying, I have some questions and concerns. I'm hoping some of you can help me out.

1. I noticed that some of the white RI looked a little thin in certain areas. Therefore, I added more a couple of hours after I flooded the area. Was this okay?

2. I still notice that the white looks less "solid" or "thick" than the other colors. Is this due to the fact that it's white or might I have a problem?

3. I want to be able to attach the RIT to a stick to stand on the cake. Do you think the figure should be dry by tonight (Thursday; finished it Wed) or should I wait until Friday morning? (Again, I need it for Saturday mid-afternoon.)

4. When adding the RIT on the back to adhere the stick, how long should I wait for that to dry? (ie, if you tell me it should be ready by Friday morning, will the RIT & stick on back be good to go for Saturday? Need it for 3 PM Saturday.)

Thank you in advance for your help; I do appreciate it. I do have a Plan B should something go awry. I saw that many of you recommended doing two, just in case one broke. I honestly just didn't have the time.
