I'm definitely going to make some - but I have 9 Mother's Day Bouquets due by Friday. YIKES!!! So, I'll be posting next week probably. 
Well I'm not an expert on cookie club but I think this cookies may represent one of the most visited places on Earth for a family vacation. I made this on Saturday,May 2nd. Hope you like them!

Those are very cute! Can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with! My son's birthday cake this month might be able to fit in and since my main decorating medium on it will be cookies I can use it for this haha...If I have time I will try and make cookies 'just' for this though.

As for the next month's theme... 
I was thinking about this:
Using cookie cutters for another design that it was made for. 
For example, making a butterfly in a flower cookie. Sometimes we get frustrated because we don't have a specific cutter, but we can use what we have and do awesome things. For how many designs do you use a cutter that you have? Or maybe, give some use to that seasonal cutter throughout the year.
I post this early because I'll be out for a few days from next week.

I'm going to post! I promise. I just keep getting orders - which is awesome! I already have my vacation theme picked out. I'm going to cut them out tomorrow and then I have to do a cake on Friday. So, I'm hoping I'll have time to decorate Friday or Saturday. I'm so excited about my theme. It is somewhere I've always wanted to go - hopefully next year.
Here are the cookies for this month....Family Vacation could be the zoo or a safari for the adventerous or Disney's Animal Kingdom (is that the name of it?) These are done in buttercream. I forgot that the colors deepen with buttercream, so they got much darker than I had planned, but I still think they turned out okay. I am making the cake for them to go on today.
I'm cutting them out right now - I'm gonna make it by the end of May! I'm gonna make it! haha
My household came down with the Stomach flu -
So, my vacation cookies will have to wait - now I have to work on the paid gigs. Oh well, I'll stick them in the freezer for a rainy day.
didn't make it for may (the only vacation we'd been on is camping) but i ran out of time-it's been a bit hectic around here (apart from baking, cleaning, kids, ect...) i can't believe it's june already (and it's freezing here in ontario!) i've got some great ideas for june though (if that's what we're using) i hope i can make it in time lol

can you believe, i'm the one who came up with the theme, and i didn't even post. over the next week, i have about 600 cookies due. i'm not sure if i love grad season or hate it.... do we have a theme for this month???
