I would guess one cup. If I was going to do it I would make 1 1/2 cups to be save. I hate running out of icing.

1 cup sounds about right to me too. i hate trying to figure out how much frosting i need!

Me too!! I hate running Out & I have thats why I make a little more than I think I need.
On my one & Only Cupcake cake I ran skimpy on my orange icing 
& I ran low on coloring So there was little bald spots. The customer did not notice.
