Buddy on cake boss uses lard to deep fry his cannoli's I believe he said....and they are really freaking gooooooooooood.....I just quit taking my zocor too hahaha....yikes, no more cannoli for Nanna

I am not actually using her exact recipe at this point...I am just using my usual recipe and using the hot creamer with it....wow it makes it nice...I have never used the bouquet stuff either

I only watched it once so far but I thought she took a small amount and added more cs and then rolled it in her gloved hands and then put it around the edges..............was I hallucinating lol...... ...

I have been using Walmarts shortening...the one with the fried chicken on the label, and it works great...crusts nice...
