You can also just bake 3 8" layers and carve them. You can carve in the folds of the fabric...use the scraps to build up the top to fit around the doll.

I wouldn't want to use it for what they are suggesting but I am thinking it might be good to bake angel food cupcakes and fill the cavity with fresh strawberries...no icing.

I do not color fondant...I am a buttercream decorator...but when I want sage green buttercream I add a touch of black to the green.
