This was for a Pirates of the Caribbean themed party. The treasure map has a symbol from each movie. The sides of the cake are made to look like wood or the side of a ship. Then we have the water at the bottom and Davy Jones’ tenticles coming up over the “boat”. Hope you enjoy.

Pirate boat

By patisseriejaja
A pirate theme cake for Mathias, 6 years old. Marble cake with chocolate ganache covered with fondant. All details are fondant. The boat is fondant that I let dry few days so it holds on the cake. The map was drawn with food color pencil. I had palm trees in the back of the cake on little islands of brown sugar to look like sand.
