Anyone ready for dinner? The bowl, brush, and corn was all made from gumpaste. I was so OCD with the kernels on the corn that each piece was made individually and glued on with chocolate. I was never so tired of corn in my LIFE!

Picnic anyone?

By KitKat0874
I made these for a church cookout. I got a lot of inspiration from some other “picnic” cakes on here!! :-) I used the mini vanilla wafers to make the burgers a bit smaller. I also had made cake pops the other day and had some left over balls, so I used that for the burger. Watermelon is fondant with edible marker and the chips are broken corn flakes. Vanilla cupcake iced with BC and “checkered” with fruit leather. TFL!!!

This was the first time I used Fondant and Candy Clay for a cake. I think it worked out well. I used spagetti for the grates and painted them black. The “coals” are sliced marshmallow paint with food coloring. Thanks for looking!

I made this cake for our BBQ today. it was the hit of the party. French Vanilla cake with vanilla filling, frosted in BC and airbrushed. The ants are plastic from decopac. I airbrushed the seeds on first then the red and last the green. It was a really fun cake and went over well, everyone loved it. TFL

Grilled Porterhouse Cake

This is a chocolate cake covered in fondant then airbrushed. It was a 40th birthday cake for my friend Scott, who is a big steak fan. I presented it in a tiny charcoal grill with a battery powered light placed on the bottom. Then I put dry ice in some water under the grill to make it smoky.
