This recipe is from Professional Baking by Wayne Gisslen (a Le Cordon Bleu book we used in pastry school). It’s a from scratch butter cake that has a lovely carrot cake flavors, but butter cake texture (not the typical oil based dense/moist carrot cake), so it works really well for stacking and carving.
This is from my my most trusted recipe source. You can not go wrong with this one. Even carrot cake haters have been converted!!
This is an easy way to bake your carrot cake. I do it here because is easy and saves energy. (My stove is 220 watts) So when I run out of snacks for my boy I bake it early and he gets his snack for school fresh, moist and tasty.
This is a moist, amazing carrot cake with cream cheese filling and frosting. Everytime I have made it it has come out perfect and everyone loves it! Hope you all do also!

this is a moist carrot cake which never fails me
I got this recipe from a different web site and it’s to die for! This recipe is so good in fact, it was requested by my son and daughter-in-love as one of the tiers for their wedding cake. It’s amazing and I have “muffinized” it before so as to call it breakfast!
I’ve used this recipe for years for carrot cake. Can’t remember who gave me the recipe, but I love how moist and good tasting it is. I use it for cakes and cupcakes alike.

It produces a firm, dense cake perfect for carving, wedding cakes etc. It holds rolled fondant well and won’t become a moist mess like standard carrot cake recipes. The recipe below needs to be mixed by hand in a […]
