Adding 1 tbsp espresso powder to the boiling water dramatically improves the flavour of this cake and makes it perfect!

Made this today and it is WONDERFUL! I've been making random chocolate cake recipes this past month, and this one is yummy!!
My family and I really love this cake...added chocolate chips to the batter...delicious!
I love love love this recipe.. I have used it on several cakes and everyone just can't get enough of it!
I have made this at least half a dozen times and everyone loves it.
This is my go to chocolate cake now. Its tasty, but not overly rich or too sweet. Goes well with a sweet frosting such as buttercream. Dense enough to hold up find under fondant. Moist, delicious, and simple to make.
Super moist and delicious!!! Didn't have quite enough cocoa so I melted some semi sweet morsels in the hot water. Will definately make this again. Everyone loved it!!
